Lezoil E is intended for collecting hydrocarbonaceous substances from ground and water surfaces. Lezoil E sorbing agent is manufactured from ecologically pure natural organic materials; it is atoxic and it will cause no risks to the environment.

Sorbent Lezoil is both hydrophobized and non- hydrophobized.

Lezoil E sorbent can be spread onto the polluted surface manually or mechanically.
Lezoil E is intended for the recovery, absorbing and binding of hydrocarbonaceous substances (oil, petrol, diesel, kerosene) from ground and water surfaces.
The substance absorbs oil that well that it will not stick onto birds’ feathers at the damage site. After collecting, it can be destroyed by burning. Sales packages: 1L to 10L package and 55L sack.

Instructions for use

Estimate the amount of spilled oil and spread Lezoil-E mechanically onto the oil film.
Depending on the thickness of the film, let it absorb for approx. 20-30 min.
Collect the absorbed mass using spades, brushes, nets or collecting devices and send the waste to be burned.

Storage
Store Lezoil-E in a dry and fire-safe place.
Close carefully a package that has been opened.

There are annually approximately 2000 oil damages in Finland; and in most cases only small amounts of oil is spilled into the environment. The more severe cases, annually approx. 160, are reported to the on-call duty of Finland’s environmental administration. There has been a slight increase in the number of oil spills since the second half of the 1990s. How many damages are there that are not being reported?
Areas where oil has been spilled and that have not been remedied may constitute to an environmental and health risk. They may pollute the soil and groundwater causing also other threats to people, animals and plants. Additionally, when areas where oil damages have taken place are not being treated, they may constitute to a considerable financial risk to the owners of the property.
